EEG Neurofeedback

Neurofeedback in basic terms is brain learning.  In EEG Neurofeedback, censors are applied to the scalp to capture the electrical output of different brain regions.  This data is reviewed and the process involves rewarding the brain to create more, or less, of the electrical output targeted.  The delicate balance of electrical output per brain region directly impacts physical symptoms.

HEG Neurofeedback

In the case of HEG Neurofeedback, blood oxygenation levels of the brain are being measured.  The data is reviewed and the brain is rewarded when it is producing increased oxygenation, which indicates overall increased blood flow in the area targeted.  Blood flow, and the healthy oxygenation of the blood provides the brain with the health needed to focus and perform tasks as needed.

Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP)

This is a listening therapy designed to train the middle ear to social and safe sounds that directly influence the Vagal Nerve.  The Vagal Nerve is responsible for the nervous system's fight-or-flight response.  By training the Vagal Nerve to respond appropriately to social sounds, the nervous system becomes balanced and calmed, leading to a reduction in reactivity and an increase in social behavior.
